Ivanovic: Kosovo partition imposed by foreigners
Serbian Ministry for Kosovo State Secretary Oliver Ivanovic says the talk about a possible partition of Kosovo is being "imposed by foreigners".

Ivanovic said this comes as a result of their "guilty conscience, because of their unprincipeld stance regrading Kosovo's independence".
"It is more than obvious that the West has rushed with the Kosovo independence, and that this will not solve the problem," he was also quoted as saying on Tuesday.
"There is no political stability, nor the rule of law. Serbia will not agree with such a solution. They talked to some people, and thought Serbia would accept the independence. Not even an instant offer to Serbia to join the EU would make Serbia change her position," said Ivanovic.
The state secretary also commented on the Kosovo Albanian demands to have UNSC Resolution 1244 "replaced", and described the move as "utterly nonsensical".
The resolution, he added, cannot be changed, "taking into account the position of Russia and China, but also some other Security Council members".
Asked whether the time was right for the Serb and Albanian sides to start talks on everyday problems in Kosovo, Ivanovic said that the more likely scenario would see "other kinds of talks, such as on the missing and kidnapped persons".
The Ministry for Kosovo official also stated that he "cannot believe that technical talks could start without the issue of the status".
"In the first, and perhaps second step, all technical issues are based on the status. For that reason, I think both sides will have to show flexibility, in that a solution should be found that is acceptable to all. What we have today is a status that, as far as Serbs and Serbia are concerned, is absolutely unacceptable," Ivanovic concluded.
