Tadic and Hague to correct misunderstanding between Serbia and EU
British Foreign Minister William Hague is not bringing to Serbia today either threat or ultimatum, daily ‘Blic' learns from high source in Belgrade. Hague is coming at the invitation by Serbia President Boris Tadic and their meeting is expected to restore good relations with one of the key EU countries which expressed the largest disagreement over the decision by Belgrade to file a resolution to the UN General Assembly without consultations with Brussels.

The purpose of today's meeting is that Tadic and Hague in personal meeting work out all so far misunderstandings and ease tension mounting since opinion made by the International Court of Justice that Kosovo declaration on independence is in line with the international law and attempt by Serbia to annul that opinion.
As ‘Blic' learns from diplomatic sources in Brussels, Hague might request from Tadic that the resolution is withdrawn completely. However, it is not expected that he insists on such a request and London would probably accept a change of the resolution that would make it completely meaningless.
EU official: Belgrade wants harmonization of positions on Kosovo
The EU has understood that Belgrade wants to harmonize positions with the Union when it comes to the debate on Kosovo at the UN, after Serbian President Boris Tadic announced the arrival of the Serbian delegation in Brussels, said Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton .
Kocijancic told the BETA news agency that the EU is still in regular contact with the Serbian authorities. According to EU sources, the talks in Brussels, as it is assumed, focused on as greater convergence as possible, if not quite fully harmonized positions on the resolution on Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence that Serbia submitted to the UN General Assembly.
