According to him, the shedding of light on the fate of the missing is one of the prerequisites for stabilization and improvement of overall relations in the region. Pointing out that life issues are the most important in Kosovo, he stressed several topics required more intensive international engagement, such as the issue of 400 bodies waiting to be identified in a mortuary in Pristina.
In order that the problem of identification and search for the missing in Kosovo be resolved, Hague investigators should submit data from their archives and KFOR and UNMIK should open the arhives, he said after visiting Pristina. In that context, it is necessary to exert positive pressure on Pristina.
