Kosovo's parliament is to vote on the non-confidence motion against the government of Prime Minister Hashim Thaci at the background of the worsening political crisis.

The move comes as result of the break-up of the ruling coalition, which used to consist of the Democratic League of Kosovo headed by Fatmir Sejdiu and the Democratic Party of Kosovo led by Hashim Thaci.

The non-confidence motion was filed with a petition backed by 40 MPs and was initiated by the New Kosovo Alliance.
