What might be unrealistic today can be realistic tomorrow, Dzurinda emphasized for the Slovakian Pravda while adding that the dialogue should result in a sustainable solution.

He dismissed interpretations according to which Slovakia does not want to recognize unilaterally proclaimed Kosovo independence out of fear of the Slovakian Hungarians and the idea of the so-called Greater Hungary. At issue is a number of other facts. When we opened airspace for NATO military intervention against the regime of Slobodan Milosevic, I clearly remember the SC resolution saying that the solution for the Balkans will adhere to the principle of territorial integrity, pointed Dzurinda.

Reminding that Kosovo was promised broad autonomy, he pointed that unilateral proclamation of independence is not a solution for territorial disputes.
