"Bearing in mind that a large number of people went missing and that their organs were removed, which is a serious crime, the decision to release Sonmez pending trial proves that the path to justice is really difficult," Jaksic stressed.
According to him, such decision also proves that there are big political stakes.
He added that the decision was surprising, especially since Dick Marty's report on human organ trafficking and crimes in the "yellow house" was being widely discussed.
