On Tuesday in Brussels, Thomas Countryman stated that he expected the forthcoming Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to start as soon as the government in Prisitina has been constituted.
The U.S. official said that Washington is "taking very seriously the grave charge" which Council of Europe Special Rapporteur Dick Marty made against Kosovo Albanian officials in his report on illegal human organ trafficking in Kosovo.
However, Countryman noted, "judgments on anyone's guilt cannot be passed in advance".
Countryman told reporters in Brussels that the "entire investigation into Marty's allegations should be carried out by EULEX", and he "welcomed Pristina and Tirana's readiness to participate in the proceedings".
