Over a year now, the Serbs in the Kosovo Pomoravlje have been living without service of mobile providers from Belgrade, and the landline telephony as well, and so far there has been no talks between Belgrade and Pristina to resolve the problem

Head of the Kosovo Pomoravlje District Dragan Nikolic told that the Kosovo Serbs from that region along the administrative line with Central Serbia lost the service when over a year ago, the Pristina authorities ordered removal of links for the landline and mobile telephony providers from Belgrade.

According to Nikolic, there was no investments, nor was a single school, road, sewage or water supply pipeline constructed or repaired in places inhabited by Serbs in this region in 2010. Since 1999, there are no Serbian hospitals. Some 30,000 Serbs live in the Kosovo Pomoravlje District.
