EULEX detains 8 war crimes suspects
The operation came in connection with the investigation into war crimes against Kosovo Serbs and Albanians committed in 1999, the EU mission in Kosovo said.

The arrest warrant was issued by the EULEX pre-trial judge at the Priština District Court, on the reasonable suspicion of killings, torture and other acts against Kosovo Albanians and Serbs, civilians and war prisoners at a detention center in Kosovo in 1999.
EULEX said that several houses were searched in the operation.
The EULEX release does not reveal the names of those arrested or where the operation took place, but the media say they were former Kosovo Liberation Army members, who were active in the Prizren and Drenica regions, around Malisevo.
Albanian language media in Pristina reported that those detained included the regional police commander in Prizren Nedmija Krasnici.
