Kostunica: NATO wants to a create puppet state in Kosovo
Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said on Thursday that if the Kosovo Albanians made a unilateral declaration of independence it would become clear that NATO had bombed Serbia in 1999 to create a puppet state, in which the military alliance would be the main governing body.

"The main goal is to create a NATO puppet state, in which, according to Annex 11 of the Ahtisaari blueprint, NATO would be the final and supreme governing body," Kostunica said.
He also said that there could be no "supervised independence," as supervising and independence were terms that canceled each other out.
"In history so far, the real name for supervised states was puppet creations, and now we see how the U.S. and NATO are trying to achieve something of the sort," the prime minister said.
"For Serbia, there is the U.N. Security Council Resolution 1244, there is the U.N. Charter and there is the Serbian Constitution, which all guarantee that the province of Kosovo and Metohia is an integral and inalienable part of Serbia," Kostunica added.
