Stefanovic expects some solutions in the new round of Kosovo talks
Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanovic says that the meeting is planned to be aimed at reaching a compromise on certain open issues, such as registry books, cadasters, freedom of movement, and others.

"We are unlikely to open new topics, as it makes no sense to raise new issues and pile up problems without solutions. One should take one step at a time, however small they are, as compromise and concrete agreements on life issues are what both the Albanians and Serbs in Kosovo, as well as the international community, expect from the dialogue," Stefanovic stressed.
He said that the property that the Kosovo Albanian announced it would request has not been mentioned during the previous rounds.
"Things are very clear regarding property. The issue of succession cannot be opened with an entity which is not a state, so we have not discussed it, nor will we. The next phase of the dialogue will raise the issues of property of the Serbian citizens, Serbian Orthodox Church and the companies in Kosovo's territory. That is the only property we can discuss," Stefanovic pointed out.
Stefanovic did not wish to comment the messages of head of Kosovo's negotiation team Edita Tahiri, who qualified his statement that "Belgrade does not exclude talks on any issue, including the division of the province," as a provocation, which is harmful for the stability of the entire region.
