The traffic is being redirected to alternative routes. The protest in the center of the town has gathered several hundred Serbs.
President of the Zubin potok Business Association Ratomir Bozovic and Mayor Slavisa Ristic addressed the crowd.
They stated that failing to pay taxes to the Kosovo Albanian government in Pristina cannot be a cause for arresting businessmen in northern Kosovo.
The road block will remain in place until the protesters' demand for Pantelic to be released is granted.
A judge from the EU mission in Kosovo (EULEX) has decided that Pantelic should remain in custody for 30 days.
Pantelic was arrested in a joint operation by EULEX and NATO's KFOR two days ago. He is suspected of involvement in organized crime.
