Spain would not recognize Kosovo
This was heard from Spanish foreign minister Trinidad Jimenez after her meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic in Belgrade

Jeremic said if Serbia retreated in front of ethnic Albanian separatists, the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo would not be the last the country would face.
Jeremic repeated once again that Serbia would not agree to, or accept the declaration - made by ethnic Albanians over three years ago.
The minister also thanked Spain for not recognizing Kosovo as independent.
The two officials agreed that Spain and Serbia enjoyed excellent relations and shared the same view regarding Serbia's EU integration, and the issue of Kosovo.
"The question of Kosovo has enormous significance for us, first of all in the context of creating a dangerous precedent. And for that reason we cannot accept in any way unilateral declarations of independence of parts of our territory," Jeremic told a joint news conference.
The Spanish foreign minister, who also met with President Boris Tadic, stressed that her country would not recognize Kosovo and that Spain was one of five EU states that have not done so.
"In that sense we wish to cooperate with the authorities of your country and to spur them to find a constructive solution to this question. And, also, we support the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in search of a compromise," said Jimenez.
