Serbian Assembly adopted Declaration on Kosovo
The Serbian Assembly adopted saturday night a declaration on the current situation in Kosovo, which condemns any violence and calls for the solving of the crisis, emerged after the unilateral act of Pristina, in a peaceful way.

Through that document, the parliament supports the Government of Serbia to continue the dialog with Pristina, aiming to find the solutions for concrete citizens' problems in the Province, and also to reach a lasting compromise solution.
The obligation of the Government has been stressed that it should require of international mission, in line with UN Resolution 1244, to not allow the unilateral activities of the Pristina authorities, which threaten the peace, stability, possibility of a compromise solution and changes the existing situation in the field.
Bogdanovic: KFOR overstepped its mandate
Serbian minister of Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic has assessed at the extraordinary assembly session that KFOR has fully stepped out of the framework of UN Resolution 1244, and taken the position of Pristina.
He has pointed that with such actions, instead of dissolving tension, KFOR has allowed impression to be made that the military mission is violating Resolution 1244, while the Serbs in northern Kosovo were in fear that Pristina would realize its goals via KFOR. That lead to setting fire on the administrative crossing in Jarinje, said Bogdanovic.
Jeremic: Preventing the establishing of Kosovo statehood
Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic has stated that since the outbreak of crisis in Kosovo, the diplomatic activities of his ministry and other state bodies have been directed at the prevention of the establishing of Kosovo statehood.
He told the delegates in the national Assembly that the crisis in the Province is unfolding in a complex international context, which is caused by the strong support of powerful countries of the world to the illegitimate institutions in Pristina, in order to establish their statehood through unilateral acts.
Jeremic has stressed that the ministry is continually working towards the international actors and institutions, so that the recognition of Kosovo independence would be prevented and their membership in international institutions disabled.
