Tadic: No recognition of Kosovo
In the continuation of the dialog with Pristina, Serbia will neither directly nor indirectly recognize the independence of Kosmet, stated President Boris Tadic.

Serbia does not wish to put the issue of Kosmet under the rug, but on the contrary, to take initiative in reaching solution for the problem that has impact not only on the Serbian people, but on the entire European continent, said Tadic. He has added that Serbia will continue fighting for its interests, sanctities, property and people in the Province.
It is the main mission and focus of the Government and Serbian President, so we will never give up on the interests of our citizens, but in the process we do not wish to harm the Albanian people. Instead, we strive for the solution that brings peace and stability in the whole region, which I believe is possible, concluded Tadic. The President has thanked Russia for the support it has been giving to Serbia in defending its tererritorial integrity and sovereignty.
