The investigation is underway, and our policy is not to reveal publicly the information about the probe, pieces of evidence, the way we discovered them, and possible witnesses, Laas said in a statement .

He said that the EULEX special team is checking the evidence, but that it is still early to speak about a trial.

Laas said that they know that the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor's Office broadcasted on the national television statements by a protected witness in the human organ trafficking case, and that they are receiving many questions on this occasion.

We will check all information thoroughly and independently. We want to carry out a professional and detailed investigation, and we will follow traces to where they take us, he underlined.

Commenting the issue of trial to suspects in the case of human organ trafficking in Kosovo, which was raised by the Serbian prosecution, Laas said that there are two possibilities.

We would request either engagement of international judges, who are already in Kosovo, or formation of a special court if possible. But, it is still early to speak about this, the spokesman said.

Laas said that the goal of the criminal investigation is to gather evidence which would be undeniable in court.
