- Yes, I can confirm that we have the witness of medical procedures and a direct participant of human organs' removal in the North of Albania in the late 90-ies, and this is really important news for the proceedings. We believe that relevant international parties involved in the investigation of this case should join in the proceedings now.
The question of where the trial will be held, if it comes to the suspects, is in the competence of the international community. The EULEX investigation group headed by John Clint Williamson reports that it is going to be some kind of International Commission. As it is known, Serbia holds the position that the Commission must work under the auspices of the UN. Now Williamson's command has the possibility of checking out the information, which trustworthiness we are convinced of. We have been working on the verification of the testimony of this witness for 16 months, and we are sure that he is telling the truth. Now other investigation agencies have the opportunity of checking it out and using it in their proceedings; not only Williamson, but other public prosecutors ' offices, which deal with cases of human organs trafficking.
I can't speak about any details, which may jeopardize the investigation. But I would like to say that it looked like some kind of a movie the way we managed to get in touch with him. The key point was that he felt in danger, he was afraid for his life due to some of his former comrades. At this point, we have come in contact with him and now we cooperate on the level.
