UK plans to send 80 officials to Kosovo
The UK intends to send 80 policemen and judicial officials as part of the possible EU mission to Kosovo, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said.

Brown said that following last week's EU summit agreement on intention to send some 1,800 officers and judicial officials to Kosovo, it will be up to the EU foreign ministers to confirm the detailed arrangements in the coming weeks.
The UK claims the ESPD mission has a "legal" mandate even without a new UN Security Council decision.
This view is not shared by all EU countries, nor by Russia and China in the UN SC.
