Lekic would not change policy on Kosovo
Miodrag Lekic, leader of the Montenegrin Democratic Front, dismissed the possibility the coalition would reexamine the decision of Milo Djukanovic's government to recognize Kosovo's independence if it won the upcoming parliamentary elections set for October 14.

"International law does not offer the option of annulling the previous government's decisions on recognition of states," Lekic said in an interview for Podgorica-based daily Vijesti.
He said the majority of Montenegrins was not happy with the fact the government made the decision without consulting the people.
"The Montenegrin government either acted on orders from outside or expected to reap some award for recognizing Kosovo, for example in the form of some international leniency for Montenegro's corruption and mafia reality," said Lekic.
