The daily learnt that Dacic would head the Belgrade team from EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton's cabinet.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic's foreign policy advisor Marko Duric said recently that a platform for Kosovo would be finished soon and that Serbia's ultimate goal would be clearly defined.

He said that that "the entire public will know exactly what Serbia's position is" once the negotiations have started.

Some Serbian ministers will also be a part of the team, depending on topics on the agenda.

Blic's diplomatic sources say that Ashton, Nikolic, Dacic and Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci's cabinets are in constant contact and that they are working on harmonizing the topics that will be discussed. They added that the Serbian president wanted to resolve the Kosovo issue during his term in office.
