Talking about Serbia's strategy for resolving the Kosovo issue during an appearance on B92 television, she said that Belgrade's strategy should be aimed at the survival of the people in Kosovo.
"A way must be found to ensure their functional survival," Trajkovic said, noting that Belgrade should have it own resolution which would guarantee Serbia's integrity and sovereignty.

She said she would not vote in favor of the resolution on the normalization of relations with Serbia, which the Kosovo parliament intends to pass in the coming days.
"I am for talks, but I cannot vote for the resolution, because it defines Kosovo as a sovereign, independent state," said Trajkovic.

She said she thought a team should be formed in Kosovo to gather data on human rights violations and send them to a single center, adding that Serbia should work on winning over the European and American public.
