Govt wants to know who gets salaries from Pristina
The Serbian government requested Thursday from competent bodies in the state administration to take measures without further ado with a view to identifying the employees who receive salaries both from the Serbian budget and the interim self-government institutions in Kosovo

Due to violation of Serbia's regulations, the government's decision urged taking measures laid by the laws which regulate working relations, rights and duties, it was stated after the government's session.
The same procedure was recommended to other state bodies, public institutions, public companies other types of organizations established by the Republic of Serbia, bodies of local self-government in Kosovo-Metohija, and institutions and enterprises established by units of local self-government.
First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said announcing this measure that he expects this to be a kind of fight for a fair relation in which Serbia's tax payers will know who receives money in north Kosovo and other parts of the province.
"I believe that we will manage to do that in the coming period. It is not only that we are starting to resolve this problem, but you will also see that the issue will be tackled from the aspects of corruption and lawlessness, and the results will come faster than expected," Vucic said.
So far, each ministry had its own budget for Kosovo-Metohija, and now programs and plans are being drafted for the state to use the Kosovo-Metohija funds in the best possible manner by offering efficient help to its citizens and curtailing aid to the ones who misused the funds in the previous period.
