Resolution on normalization of relations with Serb

The Kosovo assembly passed a resolution on normalization of relations with Serbia by majority vote on Thursday.

The resolution notes that the Kosovo assembly backs the normalization of relations between the two independent and sovereign states with a view to resolving the problems that exist between the two states, improving citizens' life and advancing the EU agenda for both states and the entire region.

According to the resolution, the Kosovo assembly is committed to the principle, according to which the EU should facilitate the talks between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, with the support of the U.S.

The results of the dialogue should be in line with the sovereignty of Kosovo, international subjectivity, territorial integrity and constitutional order of Kosovo, the resolution reads.
