Germany welcomes meeting between Dacic and Taci
The German government welcomed the meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci held on Friday, which was also attended by High EU Representative Catherine Ashton.

Pointing out that Germany fully supports the efforts of the European official, spokesman of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andreas Peschke told a news conference that in the eyes of the German government, the meeting constitutes an important step in the process that should soon render tangible results and Germany hopes that it will be followed by permanent improvement of the situation on the spot.
He noted that it is clear to German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle that normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo and establishment of good neighbourly relations are the key criteria for the two countries' approach to the EU, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs noted on its website.
