The victim was identified as Zivko Maksic.

The incident happened close to the Bistrica River, while Maksic was farming his land.
The case has been reported to the Kosovo police, KPS, in the nearby town of Peć.

Radio Gorazdevac said that ethnic Abanians from the neighboring village of Zahac had usurped the land owned by Maksic and later openly threatened to harm him if he attempted to work his land in the future.

Goraždevac is the largest Serb village in Kosovo , with a little less than 1,000 inhabitants.

Nine years ago, fire was opened from automatic weapons at a group of enclave children and youths spending the day at the Bistrica River, killing two and injuring several others.
