At the time of the attack, the bus was carrying a dozen passengers, but no one was injured.
"The case was reported to the Kosovo police that quickly arrived at the scene, and told the driver that they cannot conduct an investigation as they need to wait for another patrol. After ten minutes of waiting, the driver decided that it would be best to continue the ride for security reasons, and he did so," a passenger said.
Besim Hoti, regional spokesperson of the Kosovo police, told Tanjug that the case was reported to the Kosovo police, but that there were no elements of a criminal act.
Southern Kosovska Mitrovica is populated mainly by ethnic Albanians, and the incident took place in the vicinity of a police station in this part of the city.
