Dacic,Sydow: Respect universal standards in Kosovo

It is highly important to implement universal standards in Kosovo, when it comes to the respect of human rights, security, and the protection of religious and cultural heritage, Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rapporteur on the situation in Kosovo Bjorn von Sydow agreed on Thursday.

During the talks with Von Sydow, Dacic underscored that Serbia wants all outstanding Kosovo-related issues to be resolved through dialogue, and the investigation into trafficking of human organs (of the abducted Serb civilians and captives during 1998/99) to be fully carried out.

The Serbian prime minister also stressed that it is very important that the Council of Europe (CoE) takes the status-neutral stand, the release reads.
