EULEX ready to assist in Belgrade-Pristina talks

Head of EULEX Mission Xavier Bout de Marnhac underlined in Friday's talks with Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic that the EU Rule of Law Mission is ready to assist in all aspects of the Belgrade-Pristina talks, and that the project on the integrated management of administrative crossings remains a priority for all.

EULEX is ready to offer its assistance in relation to all agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina. The agreement on integrated management of crossings remains a priority for all. The role of EULEX will be precisely determined in line with the mission's mandate and within any of the agreements reached between Pristina and Belgrade, Marnhac said as EULEX released.

The statement adds that the talks touched on key issues - further cooperation between institutions of Serbia and EULEX in the area of the rule of law and implementation of the agreements reached in the course of the EU-mediated dialogue, including the agreement on the integrated management of crossing points.

The EULEX chief held a number of meetings with officials in Belgrade, including Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo Aleksandar Vulin.
