KFOR takes over probe into explosion near Brnjak

KFOR has taken over the investigation into an explosion that occurred near the administrative crossing of Brnjak, in the far north of Kosovo, EULEX spokesperson Irina Gudeljevic has stated.

A strong blast was heard on Monday evening around 19 p.m. CET. According to initial reports, there were no casualties or material damage.

As Tanjug learnt, the explosion took place between the checkpoint Tabalije, where members of the Serbian Interior Ministry are deployed, and the checkpoint Brnjak, where members of KFOR, EULEX and Kosovo police are deployed.

Checkpoints Tabalije and Brnjak are located on the main road Ribaric-Zubin Potok.
