During a debate which DSS staged in Kosovska Mitrovica, Petkovic noted that Serbia is a whole and is indivisible and that Kosovo is its integral part and that Serbia cannot exist without Kosovo.

He said that DSS leadership came to Kosovska Mitrovica on Monday so as to back the local population in the defence of their unalienable right to be a part of the Republic of Serbia.

DSS deputy president and former minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic discussed the current situation concerning Kosovo during the public debate.

In the next few days, when the agreement on integrated crossing management should be adopted, one of DSS high officials will be staying with the citizens in the province every day.

DSS launched an action of petition-signing in Kosovska Mitrovica under the title of 'Serbia is in jeopardy' which was first signed by 260 intellectuals from the entire country during the meetings staged in all major municipalities of Serbia.
