Stankovic signed contracts with small and medium companies from the area who got government grants worth RSD 40 million.
He said he was very pleased with the talks because economy was more important than politics and all the officials he had talked to stressed their concern for the economy.
Stankovic also discussed the disputed monument to former paramilitary organization the Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja with president of the Presevo municipality Ragmi Mustafa.
"We agreed that the most effective thing at the moment is to leave the issue regarding the monument to the authorities to work it out with the local people. Once they take a stand, the public will be informed," Stankovic explained.
He announced urgent reform within the coordination group, stressing that it should be smaller and its members able to react urgently.
The heads of the three municipalities will be vice presidents and members will include people who know the situation and wish to solve the problems in this multinational area, he concluded.
