Reflecting on the meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci and High EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in Brussels last night, Degert told reporters in Belgrade that a number of agreement have been reached and that it remains to be seen how the agreements would be carried out because Serbia's progress on its EU path depends on this point.

Ashton will file the report to foreign ministers of EU countries and they will adopt the decision on the next step in Serbia's EU integration, Degert said and added that this is an encouraging signal and expressed the expectation that some new agreements will be reached in the next few weeks and months.

He recalled that it is one thing to reach an agreement while the implementation of the agreement is a completely different matter which will also be subject to assessments.
