The decision will be made by councilors of four northern Kosovo municipalities.

The session will be held at 10:00 in Leposavić.

Northern Kosovo Serbs have been blocking the construction of a new integrated crossing, demanding guarantees that a border will not be set up between Kosovo and central Serbia.

Their representatives got the guarantees from top state officials in Belgrade on Thursday that their requests will be met.

PM Ivica Dacic has said that the meeting between the country's top officials and representatives of Serbs from northern Kosovo "confirmed the state unity on the Kosovo policy".

"Four administrative line crossings between Kosovo and central Serbia will be established by the year's end and that those crossings will be status-neutral. We do not see or accept them as any border crossings or border but solely as temporary buildings that have a status of administrative crossings," he explained.

Kosovska Mitrovica Mayor Krstimir Pantic stated that "all the demands of Serbs from northern Kosovo have been met", but that they will on Friday meet to decide whether to end their ongoing protests at the administrative line.
