Dacic: Security situation is stable
Security situation in Serbia is stable regardless of the latent danger in southern part of the country and a possible spillover from Kosovo-Metohija and Macedonia to the south of Serbia, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday.

Speaking about the situation in the ground safety zone, the prime minister stressed there have not been any terrorist attacks there, and that from July to September the area saw 28 cases of machine-gun fire, individual shootings, theft and illegal forest cutting.
Referring to ethnically-motivated violence, Dacic said that the worst incident took place on July 6, when a married couple was killed in Urosevac, eastern Kosovo, and that there have been a total of 20 cases of ethnic violence.
