The businessmen have requested an explanation from the Serbian government.
Kosovska Mitrovica Municipal Council member Ljubisa Petrovic told that the businessmen were not satisfied with measures and implementation of the agreement on the integrated crossings management at Jarinje.
He added that this was the reason they requested an explanation from Belgrade team head in technical talks Dejan Pavicevic.
Petrović said that representatives of northern Kosovo businessmen should meet with a head of EULEX Customs and hopefully get an explanation of the procedure for transportation of goods intended for northern Kosovo.
More than 50 businessmen attended a meeting in Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday and most of them said that the Kosovo customs officers had requested to pay customs duties for their goods.
Earlier on Wednesday, they held a rally in Leposavic and called for respect of the Serbian government's conclusions according to which customs duties do not have to be paid for goods intended for northern Kosovo at the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings.
They stressed that they had been having problems at the Jarinje crossing ever since the implementation of the agreement started on December 10.
