Nikolic meets with Davenport over Kosovo platform
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic notified British Ambassador Michael Davenport about the progress made in the preparation of a government platform for resolving the Kosovo issue.

During open and candid talks, Nikolic expressed the ambition of resolving the Kosovo issue during this mandate so as to contribute to stabilisation of the situation in the region, the president's press service released.
Davenport pointed out that Great Britain considers as positive the decision of Serbia to implement previously reached agreements and continue the talks with representatives of Pristina interim institutions.
He stated that the recent decision of the European Council regarding Serbia's further progress in the European integration is a positive sign that Serbia has a new perspective for a European future.
