According to a Tanjug reporter from the scene, only one truck has entered Kosovo from central Serbia over Jarinje in the first hour of the implementation of the agreement.

After about 20 minutes of waiting for the inspection of documents to be done by EULEX and Kosovo Customs officers, the truck went on inside the Kosovo north.

There has been no traffic jams and the pass of vehicles and control of traffic are normal at the Jarinje integrated crossing Thursday morning.

The crossing, located on the road between Raska (central Serbia) and Leposavic (northern Kosovo), is managed by Kosovo Police, EULEX and Serbian Interior Ministry officers.

"Vehicles carrying goods that are not subject to excise tax will be able to enter northern Kosovo without clearance, which also applies to excise goods weighing up to three and a half tons," Pavicevic told a press conference late on Tuesday, after relevant marathon talks between the working group teams that began seven days ago.

Pavicevic noted that documentation of the goods transported would be checked, but solely for the sake of statistics.

Pavicevic stressed that the understanding reached only confirmed the agreement between Dacic and Taci from the latest round of political dialogue in Brussels, which took place on December 7.

He also said that Belgrade's team had taken into account the interests of the Serbs in northern Kosovo, but also the possibility of abuse of free imports.

If the other party obstructs the agreement on integrated crossings in any way, we are ready to suspend it, Pavicevic said.
