Vulin: Kosovo - Serbia's economic advantage
Aleksandar Vulin, director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija, stated Monday that it is difficult to do business in the province, but not impossible, adding that Kosovo has its future, and it is not a burden either to the Serbian budget or to the EU pathway.

Kosovo-Metohija is an economic advantage that can secure a better life in Serbia, Vulin said.
Vulin said that that people who live in Kosovo are not waiting for the assistance of the state, but that they rather want to be provided with a possibility to work, stressing that they are being denied basic rights to property and work.
He underlined that the measure of success of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija will be the number of citizens and conditions in which they live.
The topic of the meeting, which will last by Tuesday, will be the manners of promotion of the economic cooperation, and the event will bring together representatives of the Serbian state institutions and businessmen in Kosovo.
Slavisa Stanic, secretary general of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, said that the businessmen in the north are offering full support to the Serbian government in the Brussels talks, stressing that the negotiations are expected to yield a solid agreement.
He said that they urged the state to introduce them into the VAT system so that they could work.
Stanic also said that economy des not exist in Kosovo, that everything is ruined, and that the Pristina authorities do not know how to launch a production.
