Nikolic shows Tsunozaki platform on Kosovo

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic met with Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki and showed him the draft platform for the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Thursday.

Nikolic told Tsunozaki that the draft document would soon be finalized and presented to the deputies of the Serbian parliament, the president's press office said in a release on the same day.

Thanking the outgoing ambassador of Japan for his work and overall contribution to the improvement of the relations between the two countries, Nikolic said that despite all the difficulties that had shaken Japan, the friendly country had not stopped helping Serbia, demonstrating by that that beneficence was one of the noble qualities of the Japanese nation.

The Japanese ambassador expressed his gratitude for the trust that the Serbian president placed in him by awarding him the Order of the Serbian Flag, Second Class, adding that Japan would continue to build friendly relations with Serbia.
