After the talks on Thursday and Friday last week, the working groups of Belgrade and Pristina did not give statements to the media, and Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton who facilitates the dialogue, said certain progress had been achieved.

It is expected that the talks will also be continued on Wednesday.

Belgrade's working groups were headed by Dejan Pavicevic, who was also joined by Head of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin and representatives of Kosovo Serbs Krstimir Pantic and Slavisa Ristic, while Pristina's working groups were headed by Edita Tahiri.

The goal of the technical dialogue, which addressed the issues related to the collection of customs duties for the goods dedicated to northern Kosovo that go through the crossings at the administrative line that have been established recently, is to lay foundations for the new round of top-level talks.

Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci are to meet in Brussels on January 17.
