The Serbs blocked both lanes of the road passing through Zubin Potok with trucks and passenger vehicles this morning, and EULEX and Kosovo police staff did not manage to reach the integrated crossing of Brnjak via this road.
The road was blocked on Thursday as well, and the Serbs also stopped EULEX vehicles heading towards the Jarinje crossing in the village of Rudare, Zvecan municipality.
The Serbs blocked the roads in protest against the presence of Kosovo customs officers and border policemen at the Jarinje and Brnjak integrated crossings at the administrative line between central Serbia and northern Kosovo.
The Serbs reiterated on Friday that they do not want to pay taxes to Kosovo institutions and that they want to become part of the tax system of the Republic of Serbia.
