Ashton preparing Nikolic-Jahjaga meeting
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is working on organizing the first meeting of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Kosovo's official Atifete Jahjaga which will be held in Brussels, the press has learned from a source at the European Commission.

The goal is to establish contact at the presidential level in order to solidify and intensify the ongoing talks between the two prime ministers and at the expert level, an EC official who insisted on staying anonymous told on Monday.
He could not specify the date and agenda for the meeting, other than to say it was planned for the first half of February.
Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for the high representative, did not want to confirm or deny the information.
"All I can say is that we welcome and are ready to support all initiatives contributing to normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina," Kocijancic told the news.
