Dacic said that Turkey's political positioning is of great importance for stability in the Western Balkans.

Davutoglu underscored that Serbia is a key state in the Balkans, and backed reforms in Serbia, and its commitment to resolve all open issues in a peaceful way and through dialogue.

Dacic and Davutoglu confirmed that a summit of the two governments will be held in Belgrade this year. The summit is expected to improve the bilateral relations between Serbia and Turkey.

Improvement of bilateral relations is a priority, the goal being to double the trade between the two countries so as to reach EUR 1 billion on an annual level, it was said at the meeting between Dacic and Davutoglu.
