We are very thankful to the Russian Federation on its principled and constructive support with a view to finding a just solution and ensuring durable peace in the region, and above all the survival of Serbs, said the prime minister.
"Any abuse of international missions leading to the strengthening of Kosovo's independence was strongly condemned," said Dacic, according to the release.
Dacic stressed Serbia is not changing its stance when it comes to the UN: "We cannot accept Kosovo's membership in the UN because we believe that the issue of Kosovo's status has not been settled and it is necessary to look for a just solution which will be in the interest of both Serbs and Albanians."
"We find it unacceptable, and we have the support of the Russian Federation in this, that the issue of UN membership be resolved with partial agreements," said the prime minister.
