The Riyaset calls for reconciliation "in line with the values Islam has been preaching for centuries," and urges everyone to respect the decision of the Supreme Court of Kosovo.

"Remind people of the faith in God. The believers understand we have one God who calls us all to peace and cooperation between people, which is also in line with the principles of modern democratic society," reads the release.

On Friday, ethnic Albanians protested near Visoki Decani against the decision of the Kosovo Supreme Court which ruled that 23 hectares of land, previously held by Apiko and Iliria companies, belong to the monastery, thus upholding a decision passed by the Serbian government in 1997.
