The prime minister underlined that the government is making efforts to secure survival of Serbs in the southern province, and a just solution for stable peace in the region, the Serbian government's press office said.

Dacic expressed expectation that Switzerland will help shed light on crimes and fate of the missing persons, the issue of displaced people and usurped property, and protection of cultural and religious heritage in Kosovo-Metohija.

Dacic and Burkhalter stated that the Serbian-Swiss relations are on the increase.

Switzerland backs the reforms that are implemented by the Serbian government, and views as positive the efforts made in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in order to resolve problems in Kosovo-Metohija, reads the statement.

The talks expressed expectations that the joint presidency of the OSCE in 2014 and 2015 will open a new perspective in the relations between Serbia and Switzerland.
