8 persons arrested for human trafficking
EULEX high police officials commended on Wednesday their colleagues in the Kosovo police for arresting eight persons suspected of involvement in human trafficking and organized crime.

EULEX stated that this police operation was carried out on Tuesday in six towns in Kosovo and resulted in the arrest of eight persons suspected of human trafficking and organized crime.
The Kosovo police should be congratulated on this proactive operation, Harry Long, head of the EULEX Police Strengthening Department.
The operations such as this one show increasing professionalism of the Kosovo police, and I hope that similar operations will be implemented in foreseeable future, Long said.
