The action was carried out very quickly, eyewitnesses said.
The Pristina-Raska magistrate road in the village of Rudare was blocked by freight vehicles, and the arrest was quickly followed by emergency sirens in northern Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvecan.
A great number of citizens are gathering in Rudare including representatives of self-governments.
Veselinovic brothers were arrested in central Serbia in December 2011, and they are tried before the Belgrade Special Court.
Controversial businessman Zvonko Veselinovic is charged by the Organized Crime Prosecutor's Office with illegal acquisition of 32 trucks owned by leasing company Hypo Alpe-Adria-Leasing.
In the beginning of the trial before the Belgrade Special Court, Zvonko Veselinovic denied that he seized 32 trucks, adding that his problems began when he refused to remove the barricades which north Kosovo Serbs put up to protect themselves from special unit of the Kosovo police ROSU.
Zarko Veselinovic is tried on suspicion of inciting a judge of the Basic Court in Raska to abuse of office.
