Halbauer stated after the talks that KFOR is monitoring the political processes in an unbiased way and it will not have any influence on them. However, we believe that a political solution or a solution to the conflicts we had here can be reached only through a dialogue, the KFOR commander said.He called on all who have responsibility in their surrounding to take part in this process in order to find a solution peacefully and without violence.Ristic told reporters that he agreed with the assessment of the KFOR commander that the security situation is better now than a year ago, and that the current problems are unresolved political issues."At the moment, the biggest problems are unresolved political issues and the fact that a great majority of Serbs in the municipality of Zubin Potok and in north Kosovo do not have trust in the Brussels solutions, and thereby the local elections which have been announced for November 3," Ristic said.He thanked the KFOR commander that he and his soldiers have remained neutral, adding that for this reason there have not been any kind of clashes between KFOR soldiers and the locals. On the contrary, there were examples of resolving common problems such as in removal of consequences of floods early this year, he said."We would like you to continue to operate in this way and the army to do its job and not to interfere in the unresolved problems which are vital for the fate of Serbs in Kosovo, such as the dialogue which is at the moment conducted between Belgrade and Pristina," Zubin Potok municipal president said.
