More Serb voters in Gracanica

Gracanica Mayor Bojan Stojanovic said Tuesday that the talk of the Albanisation of the municipality was an attempt to unsettle the Serbs in central Kosovo.

"The talk of  the Albanisation of Gracanica was deliberate and it comes from the meddlesome people who like to tell tall tales, whether they come from Pristina or Belgrade. It is an attempt to unsettle the Serbs in central Kosovo," Stojanovic told The press.An analysis of electoral rolls in Serb majority municipalities shows that the number of registered voters in Gracanica has gone up by 2,251 - of whom 2,000 Serbs and 213 Albanians and others, compared to the parliamentary and local elections in 2009 and 2010.The analysis conducted by E-Institute revealed that compared to 2010, the number of voters is also up in the municipalities of Strpce, Ranilug, Klokot, Partes and Novo Brdo.
